I have been grappling to manage my emotions and stay calm in these times of turmoil. Last two months have been difficult times where grief and loss has torn me apart. I was trying to console my loved ones , stay in touch with them regularly, give them comfort and continue my Covid relief work. I have also been using this time to strengthen my spiritual practice and this was an ideal time to pick up this book. This book will easily be one of the best reads of 2021.

As stated by the author, Charlie Mackesy (@charliemackesy) this book is for anyone and everyone. Reading this book was a philosophical journey for me. At some point in our lives we wonder about our purpose, journey and goal. While we ponder everything seems complicated. The beauty of this book is the simplified analysis of these mind-boggling thoughts.

Outlook of children are uncomplicated and tempered with innocence. The beautiful relationship of the boy, the mole, the fox and the horse makes it worth admiration. The conversations they share answer some pertinent questions of life but the outlook is very simple and as a reader it will surely encourage you to introspect and look for simpler answers. The reading experience was extremely heartwarming and profound. The beauty of the book is its illustrations which enhances the reading experience and makes it so enjoyable. There is a fluidity in the illustrations which keeps the reader hooked and the end experience is magical.

I think this will be a great addition to any book lovers collection which can be treasured and cherished for generations. I am surely passing on this one to my daughter and all my nieces and nephews.

I will give this book 5 stars out of 5
